JP joined the Live Oak team in early 2011 and initially spent much of his time educating young professionals about financing and how to best maintain and grow their business. As a financial evangelist for the bank, JP had the wonderful opportunity to work closely with and advise hundreds of aspiring young dentists, pharmacists and veterinarians. Assisting healthcare professionals in achieving the “American Dream” of ownership is truly a passion of JP’s. He now gets that opportunity everyday as a Loan Officer and General Manager working exclusively with the Dental and Medical community nationwide.
As a Loan Officer, Mike Stanton originates new loans, packages SBA loans, and evaluates new loan applications and lines of credit. Before joining Live Oak Bank, Stanton worked for Vine Street Financial, a division of BB&T, as an SBA Credit Analyst and Lender. His duties included the initial underwriting of new loan proposals, assisting lenders with different SBA programs, reviewing corporate tax returns, and other responsibilities.
Upon graduation from the University of Colorado Boulder in 1999, Jon Voeller was recruited by a small healthcare-specific finance company, HPSC. From 1999 to 2009, he managed the southwest territory for HPSC/GE Capital and was responsible for growing medical/eye care along with the dental division. While at HPSC/GE Capital, he received his MBA with an emphasis in Finance. After the financial collapse in 2009, GE Capital shut down the HPSC division, and Jon was recruited by Bank of America Practice Solutions. At Bank of America, Jon launched their medical/eye care divisions and managed 13 states. Through industry contacts, Jon landed at Live Oak Bank as a Loan Officer for the healthcare division.
In early 2013, Lindsay Harkey joined Live Oak Bank as a Relationship Manager. While in the Business Advisory Group, she serviced a portfolio of 90 borrowers. A graduate of the University of North Carolina Wilmington, Lindsay earned her Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing and minor in Spanish. After graduation, Lindsay was an Account Executive for 4 years at Proficient Learning, LLC, a pharmaceutical sales training company located in Wilmington, NC. Lindsay now serves as a Loan Officer for the healthcare team, helping originate and package SBA loans for dentist and doctors across the country.
Mike joined the Live Oak team in early 2013 after seven years as a retail and investment banker at SunTrust Bank. A native of Raleigh, NC, Mike attended the University of North Carolina Wilmington where he graduated with a degree in Business Administration and Finance in 2007. As a Loan Officer, Mike’s favorite part of his job is meeting each and every doctor that he does business with and seeing their project become a reality.
