Veterinary Practice Ground-up Construction
Challenge

Paws & Claws had outgrown their first practice location and the need for a new, larger space was necessary. They needed additional surgical units, better dry-goods storage and more space altogether. The veterinary practice was also tucked away from the road and shared a parking lot with a busy shopping center, affecting their visibility.

Solution

Working with Live Oak Bank and their contractor, Paws & Claws Animal Hospital was able to build a brand-new veterinary practice located just over one mile from their original location. The new facility offers ample work space with a separate pharmacy area, additional surgical suites and a larger treatment area.

The close proximity to their original location ensured an easy transition for their current client base, while also attracting new customers with prominent new signage and close proximity to a busy road. Phase two of their veterinary practice construction project has just been completed. This phase includes a daycare and animal boarding area. Opening the new facility increased their client base by over 200 customers in the first month alone, they hope to hire a 5th practitioner soon.

Live Oak works with devoted veterinarians like Dr. Anderson and Dr. Smith every day to achieve new levels of growth by providing veterinary financing to build the practice of their dreams.
