Ted Parker joined Live Oak Bank with 26 years in the banking industry. Prior to Live Oak Bank, Ted served as the President of Commonwealth Bank and Trust, a $1B community bank located in Louisville, KY. He began his career at National City Corporation (“NCC”) in a capital markets sales position and later led Debt Capital Markets where he and a team grew debt syndications into a top 10 volume business. Ted later served as CEO of two of NCC’s 6 regions and CEO of the $34B Institutional Asset Management Business.
Jason joined Live Oak Bank in 2012 and is a lender for the Investment Advisory vertical. As a former manager of a multi-million dollar RIA loan portfolio at a major custodian, he is seasoned at lending in this industry. Jason has held several strategic roles within large banking and financial institutions designing, developing and executing lending programs and products.
Patrick joined Live Oak Bank in 2013. As a former analyst for Morgan Keegan, Patrick played a role in providing performance analysis of the Morgan Keegan Funds provided to their investment advisors. Understanding how an investment advisor’s business operates allows Patrick the opportunity to help execute Live Oak Bank’s lending products for the Advisor.
Mike has worked his entire career as a commercial lender, specializing in SBA lending. Prior to Live Oak Bank, Mike worked at PNC Bank in Philadelphia, PA, as a SBA Loan Officer and manager of the closing team. As a Senior Loan Officer at Live Oak, Mike originates new loans for the Investment Advisory team.
Sarah joined Live Oak Bank in 2011 as a Credit Administration Analyst, eventually transitioning into roles with both our Special Assets group and the Investment Advisory team. Sarah has underwrote over $131 million in loans in the investment advisory industry and as a Loan Officer she now specializes in inside sales. Prior to working at Live Oak Bank, Sarah worked with lobbying firms in Washington DC and a well-respected bank. Sarah has a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy from the College of William and Mary, a Master of Business Administration in Finance from George Washington University, as well as Series 7, Series 66 and life and health insurance licenses.
Sims Richardson joined Live Oak Bank in July of 2013 after receiving his BSBA from the UNC Kenan Flagler Business School. Since joining Live Oak Bank, Sims has spent time as a relationship manager, managing a portfolio of about 100 loans, and time as an underwriter, where he underwrote over $100 Million worth of SBA deals until he joined the Investment Advisory team as a lender in January of 2015.
