Fifteen years ago, if you had told Anuj Mittal that he would become a remarkably successful hotelier that owned multiple properties across North Carolina, he would have likely told you that you were crazy. However, that’s exactly where he finds himself today. From Anuj’s early and humble beginnings of employment in India, he worked his way up into banking and insurance jobs after moving to Canada as a young adult until finally setting his sights on the hotel industry in 2004. Since then, his journey has been filled with many twists and turns, ups and downs and successes and failures. However, Anuj’s relentless determination to learn and undeniable thirst to succeed have served him quite well.

“I’m a dreamer and a bit of a gambler,” says Anuj.

Fast forward to today, Anuj’s latest project is located just north of Uptown Charlotte, North Carolina and will be one of the tallest and most unique properties that he’s ever built. This seven hotel construction financing spotlightstory, dual-brand Marriott hotel will be conveniently located in the Harris Corners area and close to Charlotte-Douglas International Airport, making it convenient for traveling guests. As a Courtyard and Residence Inn property, this midscale hotel will be Anuj’s newest crowned jewel. Its comfortable 188 rooms, modern atmosphere and technology, energy efficient green utilities, quality amenities and incredible service model will make this new property a game changer for the local hospitality market.
